Photography captures the beauty of nature and thrilling activities. My journey began at North Carolina State University, where I studied computer science and discovered photography as a creative outlet that would blend with my technical skills.
In high school, my path was shaped by “Ms. T,” a teacher who redirected my focus from track and cross country to programming. Her engaging style ignited my passion for coding and set me on a career path in computer science.
During college, I balanced my love for programming with photography. My computer science background helped me set up and manage my own photography services, allowing me to effectively showcase my work and stand out in a competitive field while still rocking that college budget.
After college, I became captivated by motorsports, especially WRC and Formula 1. The adrenaline of these sports inspired me to capture the action through my lens, merging my new love for speed with my artistic vision.
My passion for speed extends to my sim rig, where I experience racing thrills from home. A few years ago, I bought a motorbike, fueling my desire for adventure and further inspiring my photography.
In motorsports photography, I aim to capture the passion of athletes and the excitement of events. Each photograph tells a story, resonating with both participants and fans, and immortalizing the spirit of the sport.
As I grow as a photographer, I’m eager to expand my portfolio and collaborate with fellow enthusiasts. I hope to inspire others to pursue their passions and enhance their journeys through life using my photography to showcase their paths.
Reflecting on my journey thus far, I’m grateful for the experiences that shaped me. From Ms. T’s engagement in schooling to my exploration of photography and motorsports, I look forward to capturing the beauty of speed and inspiring others to express themselves through art.
